THE END OF VIRGIN POLYESTER

To stop plastic from polluting our oceans, we'll shift entirely to recycled polyester by 2024.

RAISING THE BAR

Reducing our environmental impact is an essential priority for us. Polyester is the most used material in our products due to its properties for sports performance because it dries quickly and is super lightweight. We can’t make the transition overnight, but we are committing to phasing out the use of virgin polyester entirely over the next years. We started in 2012 at the London Olympic Games, where we equipped all volunteers with uniforms made from recycled polyester. In 2019, the majority of our football jerseys and running shoes are made more consciously. But that’s not stopping us from doing even better. By 2024, we aim to have all of our shoes and clothing made with recycled polyester. We’ll deliver the same style, high-performance and durability while significantly reducing the impact on the environment.

CREATING TRACTION THROUGH ACTION

We're continously challenging ourselves to be bold, think bigger and put action behind our words.
