Alycia's Story
WHY HIIT?
“HIIT compliments my boxing training because I can mimic the high volume of punches I do during boxing training. HIIT helps with breathing by allowing me to control my heart rate when going through intervals. When completing a HIIT workout, I imagine I’m going through a real bout.”
HOW DO YOU WORK IT YOUR WAY?
“I shake up my workouts by adding equipment such as resisting bands, dumbbells, small weights. I will also do two-minute intervals to mimic an actual boxing match. Outdoor is perfect for HIIT, I get creative by using a park bench, or do sprints up a hill.”

HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED?
“The idea of being a World Champion and representing all women in a male dominated sport is a huge motivation for me. Women train just as hard as the men and should be given equal opportunities.”
THOUGHTS ON THE OUTFIT?
“The bra felt like a second skin, very comfortable, easy to put on and very supportive. The racerback made it even better by keeping everything contained.”
